![]() ![]() Figure 6 shows the median age of the people and Lawrence township reveals it has 39.9 overall median age of all people which is the 5th in overall median age of all people out of 10 total in the area. The city with the highest population density in the area is Lawrenceville with a population density of 3,951 measures approximately 2.6 times bigger. The next higher population density is Princeton is 10.4% larger with population density of 1,682. Looking at population density in Figure 5 Lawrence township shows it has 1,523 population density which is the 2nd smallest population density of all the other places in the area. ![]() ![]() Also, in comparison with the state of New Jersey, Population Change of 1.4%, Lawrence township is about the same size. Comparing Population Change to the United States average of 3.2%, Lawrence township measures about the same size. The population percent change for all areas for 2010 to 2016 is shown in Figure 4 and for Lawrence township indicates it has -0.7% Population Change which is the 4th smallest Population Change of all the other places in the area. Figure 3 compares the population change from 2010 to 2016 and we can see Lawrence township shows very little difference. ![]() The city with the highest population in the area is Ewing township with a population of 36,283 is 9.2% larger. Lawrence township New Jersey Population ChartsAccording to the most recent demographics data available from the Census Bureau released in December of 2017, Figure 1 Lawrence township indicates it has 33,223 population which is the 2nd most of all the places in the area. ![]()
